Covid-19 pandemic has led to the cancellation of Belia Cup Championship 2020’s announcement on June 1st by FAM and it has affected the whole team.

An undefeated record in the first five games and 17 goals has put the Selangor Belia Team on the top table of Group B with 13 points in total.

"The officials and players are saddened by the cancellation of the tournament. The spirit, confidence, and enthusiasm of all players was very positive in every training and match that time," said Selangor Belia Head Coach, Noor Zaidi.

"However, we respect FAM's decision to cooperate with the government, MKN, and KKM in preventing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic by remaining positive and confident that we will do better in season 2021," he added.

Despite this issue, Noor Zaidi is confident that the management of FAS under RMS President, Tengku Amir Shah ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah will continue to provide full support for the SOP-based training program that FAS Technical Director, Michael Feichtenbeiner and other training staff will plan soon.

"To all the players of Selangor Youth Team 2020, continue your individual training that we have provided. Stay positive and stay motivated in improving your performance", he reminds.
